Welcome to my web page. I am an IT consultant currently based in central California. I specialize in developing and supporting customized data-driven applications, using Microsoft technologies such as Visual Basic and VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Access, and Visual FoxPro. I also offer web design services.

In my most recent position, I have used network monitoring and management software to monitor clients’ computers remotely, at their request. This system would alert me to hardware failures, software problems, and other issues, which I and my colleagues would then address. I was also responsible for using the software to install critical Microsoft patches consistently on clients’ PCs, and for configuring automated daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. These are proactive maintenance measures which many businesses find useful.

In addition, I have been expanding my web design skills, particularly in the areas of search engine optimization (SEO) and content management systems (CMS) such as Joomla! and WordPress.

I invite you to explore my collection of freeware programs, updated periodically. The majority of the software I have developed has been for specific clients or commercial projects, so this represents a small sampling of my work.
